The total production is pumped up as you can see in ressource settings, thats the "boost". You don´t get ress direkt from that, maybe there is a wrong understanding?

On your screen: Metalmine level 8 produces 761 metal per hour. The booster "produces" 228 so your total production per hour is 1049 instead of 761.
I don´t see your "nothing" there ?

Or can you explain your problem more detailed?
